When the fabric is pressed by hand, some irregularities in the pattern may occur, which is part of the charm. There is a fantastic craft behind these designs. First you start by cutting out a pattern by hand in a wooden block, which you then dip in color. It takes long experience and technology to get an even and beautiful fabric and for colors and patterns to harmonize well.
